Project Database

The Project Database application is the central point for managing all project information. Project information entered here flows down to all other Integrated Business Applications that rely on project information. This creates a single point of data entry which supports information control and efficiency in your business.

Capabilities Overview

  • Create an unlimited number of projects below each client.
  • Supports project sub-numbering. The project numbering format is as follows:
    • [Client Number] – [Project Number] - [Project Sub-Number]
  • Project records support the following information:
    • Client reference (any meaningful alphanumeric string).
    • Project description.
    • Project type (customizable picklist).
    • Project specific WBS (attach a custom WBS for tracking estimate entries and time sheet entries, etc.).
    • Billable/non-billable indicator.
    • Date created.
    • Date due.
    • Priority (customizable picklist).
    • Project owner (picklist of employee user accounts).
    • Document(s) locations (network folder, etc.).
    • Point of contact (who the main contact is for the project).
    • Project notes.
  • Projects can be flagged as closed when they are complete.
  • Projects can be viewed client-by-client or in an all-client grid view, with or without filtering.
  • Search projects by client number, organization name, project number or project description.
  • Print project lists.
  • Export project lists to your default web browser, Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel.
  • Restrict access to the Project Database application by system user account.
